The Snow Zine

Introduction

In my youth, I unwittingly subscribed to the notion that snow is companion to all. Of course, I met many people who had a less than cordial relationship with the wintery matter, but to not have any relationship at all was beyond my comprehension. I realize now that, for many people, snow is largely understood through consumption of media like movies and comics. And though I do not intend to denigrate this media, I will say that it often exaggerates the properties and simplifies the complexities of snow. Thus, I made this zine, to clear up the many misconceptions regarding my preferred form of precipitation.

After my friend’s first day with snow, she came away with the misunderstanding that rolling large snowballs isn’t actually possible!  (In reality, the snow was just not packing snow.)
