"On a brisk autumn night, Detective Duck gets a call from the museum director asking for them to come to the museum immediately. Apparently a painting was stolen during the museum's fundraising gala! Now it's up to you to examine the evidence and discover the culprit behind the missing painting."

This game was made for Bitsy Fest (bitsy jam #77).  Participants had a few weeks to make a game in the Bitsy engine. The theme of the jam was "museum". I hope you enjoy this silly little game!

I love the way you replayed the crime being enacted as Detective Duck explained!

What a fun detective game! I really liked the design of the animal sprites, as well as the various art pieces in the museum.

Amazing game. I was genuinely impressed by the way you handled detective story in the bitsy format. Never seen something like this before, would definitely try to do my own spin on it at some point.

The story and characters are all charming, loved your animal sprites art style. Music at the end was a very nice finishing touch. Good stuff!

Thank you for the kind comment! The music at the end is "Fine Dining" by TrackTribe, a group that makes copyright free music.

This is great! I’m a sucker for detective games like this. I didn’t fully solve the mystery on my own, so the denouement was extra fun for me! :P

That was great. I didn't think to use sprites to indicate who is talking; nice touch.

Yeah I thought it would help during the conversation at the end to make things clear. Thank you for playing!
